Swimming and Horse Riding

Pupils have timetabled swimming lessons at the Paradise Pool in Ely and horse riding takes place for some pupils at a local stables.

Outdoor and Adventurous Activities

A residential activity week is offered to senior students annually and other activities provided.

Therapies

Our physio, speech and occupational therapists spend regular time in school assessing and working with pupils. For some pupils therapy is an integral part of their regualr curriculum.

Inclusion

We have close links with the City of Ely College with whom we share a site. This enables students in the senior department to benefit from their wider curriculum facilities, expertise and examination courses. In the primary department a community parent and toddler group meet with our youngest children to work and play together. For some of the other children individual part-time placements are arranged in their local primary school.

Personal Development

Our aim is to help children to be aware of good behaviour and self-control. We provide a positive ethos throughout the school giving praise, encouragement and rewards when appropriate.
