Highfield Friends + Parents AssociationHFPA is a group, which meets to support the school, help to organise fundraising and social events and suggest developments.  Most meetings are during the day with an occasional evening when needed.  The school has a number of regular fundraising events; sponsored walks, ‘Smartie Challenge’ (Easter fundraiser), Summer Fair (biennial), quiz nights, raffles etc.  There is also a regular (termly) coffee morning held in school, where HFPA business is discussed and parents have an opportunity to meet for a chat.  Parents and friends may be available to chat about their experience of a particular special need or difficulty.  Outside speakers are also invited to speak at coffee mornings on subjects, which are of interest to parents (Mencap, Children’s Disability Team).  There is a meetings room available for parents with information and leaflets about events, uniform, contacts and other relevant issues.

Coffee mornings and HFPA meetings are advertised in school newsletters.

If you are interested in joining HFPA then please fill in and return the slip below or contact the school for more information.
